Dalliance Films LLC presents “Deceit and Desire”, a wacky comedic web series based on those 1960’s 70’s soap operas. The series will have at least four episodes and will film one episode a month, in Charlotte, NC starting July 30, 2011. This is a no-pay project, with all involved receiving full credit, and footage for their reels once the episodes have aired.
We are accepting head-shots and resumes for several of the characters, and will be holding audition July 9th, in Charlotte, NC.
Breakdown:
CITRINE (DE LA RICHE) CZARUS: A timeless beauty of indeterminate age with flaxen hair and a petite frame. (Already Cast)
ROOK CZARUS: A strong and silent type in his early 50s is a man of adventure, power, and greed. Father to Bass & Prius, is presumed dead after mining accident.
ZIRCONIA DE LA RICH: A statuesque blond of questionable age and scruples. (Already Cast)
PRIUS CZARUS : A gorgeous brunette in her late 20s to early 30’s, is Parking Enforcement Officer, married to Rage and is the only daughter of Rook and Citrine Czarus.
RAGE: A man in his early 30s with rugged good looks and dark brooding eyes. Exotic dancer and married to Prius. (Partial Nudity Required)
BASS CZARUS : A man in his early 30s, is the only son of Rook and Citrine Czarus, was born with a rare genetic disease and lives at home with mommy.
OLIVINE : An unimposing woman in her early 20s, is personal assistant to Zirconia de la Riche, and a woman of mystery.
DR. GOOD: A man probably in his early 40s with a medium build and a flair for the dramatic. He is Czarus family doctor, which are his only patients.
Pascal Castillo: A dark swarthy ruggedly handsome male in his late 20’s to early 30’s. Prius sidekick and parking meter partner.
Not all characters are required for each episode.
